University of Basel is inviting applications for start-up scholarships from PhD students. Up to four start-up grants (30’000 CHF/12 months each) will be awarded for the next academic year, beginning in April 2016. The start-up grants will be transferred to successful candidates in two installments of CHF 15’000 each; one in April 2016 and the second one in October 2016 after evaluation of the candidates’ activities during the first six months. The application deadline is November 15th, 2015.
